Marvel at the landscapes offered by the south of the country, rock formations, natural reserves in the Amazon, bird watching typical of the region, extreme sports and the most delicious flavors. You will also discover nature in all its splendor, knowing the best viewpoints and feeling like a bird flying on a giant swing. At the end you'll have some days to enjoy the beautiful black sand beaches of Nuqui. If you go between June and October you'll be able to watch Humpback whales. 

If you want to have an off-the-beaten-path experience this is your trip. We will take you to some of the most beautiful and unexplored corners of Colombia. You will discover Bogota and the wonders of the northern part of the Amazon jungle where it meets the Andes in Caqueta and Huila. We will end up going whale-watching and visiting the beautiful beaches of the Colombian Pacific, where the contrast of the sea and the jungle will make you feel that time is standing still.

DAY 1 – BOGOTA

Arrival in Bogotá. Reception at the airport. Transfer to the selected hotel. 

At 2:30 pm we start a bike tour where you will discover Bogotá in a different and fun way. We will visit great murals of street art, where you will take the best selfies, we will visit a small coffee roaster, we will taste exotic fruits where you will experience an explosion of flavors in a typical traditional market. We will finish our experience playing the explosive Colombian national sport “Tejo”; so get ready and sharpen your aim.

At 6:30 p.m. Dinner at the Casa Vieja Restaurant, where you will enjoy an extensive typical Colombian menu. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.


DAY 2 – BOGOTA - SAN VICENTE DEL CAGUÁN (Tuesday or Saturday)

Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning you’ll be transferred to Bogotá’s airport to take a flight to San Vicente del Caguán. Arrival at Eduardo Falla airport, in San Vicente del Caguán. Transfer to the hotel. 

Minutes later we will taste a delicious Yariseño-style lunch. Later we will have an ideal space to make purchases of the most representative handicrafts of the region's biodiversity. Finally, we will meet for dinner.


DAY 3 – CAJONES OF PATO RIVER (CAJONES DEL RIO PATO)

Breakfast at the hotel, where we will taste typical exotic fruits of the region such as camu camu, arazá and copoazú. We will start our day heading to discover the most colorful natural settings of Caguán, on this tour you will learn about the culture of the extinct FARC, which nowadays is built around the values of peace, forgiveness and reconciliation.

We will continue to the Pato River to start our rafting journey. Incredible rock formations make this experience one of the best rafting circuits in South America and without doubt the one surrounded with the most beautiful scenery. 

On our return, we will head towards the municipality of Paujil which is two hours far. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 4 – THE CAVE OF COLORS

Before breakfast, we will give ourselves a space to have a cup of coffee or aguapanela with cheese, then we will organize our luggage in the respective 4x4 vehicles. 

We will begin our journey to the Las Palmas Ecotourism Reserve. Upon arrival we will walk towards the forest to reach the Cueva de los Colores, to recharge ourselves with vitality and shed the negative during the ritual of hope. We will take a bath of essences in the puddle of love; an experience that comforts our senses with aromas typical of the Amazon. 

After finishing the tour we will go to the kiosks to have lunch, a typical Caqueteño fish stuffed with vegetables, chili peppers and products of the Uitoto indigenous culture, such as Casabe, Fariña and Cahuana. 

Back to the hotel. During dinner, we will share the knowledge and traditions of the Amazonians. Accommodation.


DAY 5 - ROUTE OF CÚRCUMA, FLAVORS OF THE CAMPO CAQUETEÑO

Breakfast at the hotel. A few kilometers from the city of Florence, our day begins on the way to the Cerro Pinel Agrotourism Reserve; a green environment that opens the agricultural doors to teach us the gastronomic and medicinal properties of this plant that has managed to transform the social, labor, economic, educational and environmental reality. We will walk through the paths and orchards of turmeric until we reach Cerro Pinel, a mountainous peak with a panoramic view that evokes the adventures of the last Andakí.

Time to have our lunch with turmeric and we will return to the city of Florence to visit the Caquetá Museum; where we will discover vestiges and utensils of the indigenous, colonial and historical times. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 6 - CANYONING IN THE AVISPA NATURAL RESERVE - HUILA

Breakfast at the hotel. Just 20 minutes from the hotel we will arrive at La Avispa Nature Reserve and Ecotourism, a place full of adrenaline and conservation; combining the majesty of the forest with adventure, to create a culture of respect for the environment. 

We will do canyoning surrounded by nature, we will also have the opportunity to learn about the culture and way of life of the Amazon. Lunch.

At the end of the afternoon we'll head towards the Municipality of Gigante - Huila. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 7 - VIEWPOINT TOUR

Our morning will start visiting the most dazzling viewpoints in the region, our first visit will be to the Mano de Gigante Viewpoint, where we will have breakfast and have time to take postcard photographs taking advantage of the spectacular landscape and its amazing view. We will continue to the Mirador la Morra. We will have lunch there.

In the afternoon we will move to the municipality of Garzón where we will visit the El Balcón del Huila Viewpoint which is located 1,600 meters above sea level. At the end of the afternoon, we will leave for the municipality of Pitalito. Accommodation.


DAY 8 - MIRADOR DE VIDRIO - FLIGHT OF THE HALCÓN - NEIVA

Breakfast at the hotel. At eight in the morning we will move to the municipality of Isnos, where our adventure begins at the Mirador de Vidrio; a glass bridge over a waterfall. We will also go up to the Flight of the Falcon; a giant swing of 14 meters high to swing over 210 meters into the void in one of the largest and most beautiful falls in Colombia. Lunch and time to take pictures.

In the afternoon we will return to Neiva on a four and a half hour tour. Arrival in Neiva and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.


DAY 9 - NEIVA - BOGOTA- NUQUI

Very early in the morning transfer to Neiva airport with a connection through Bogotá to reach Nuquí. Upon you're arrival at Reyes Murillo airport, in Nuquí, you'll be transferred by boat to your hotel. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 10 – NUQUI - LOVE WATERFALL AND JOBÍ RIVER

After breakfast, you will hike to the Cascada del Amor, a large waterfall surrounded by tropical jungle (with a local guide). This is a great opportunity for a refreshing swim amidst the tropical humidity. You will have lunch at noon, and then have the afternoon off to rest, explore the surrounding jungle and beach, or reserve an additional activity. We recommend the canoe trip (chingo is the traditional word) through the Jovi river. During whale season, you will head out in search of the Humpback whales. These incredible animals migrate from Antarctica in search of warmer waters.


DAY 11 – Nuquí

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare for a full day on the beach. You will have the chance to reserve additional activities such as: surf lessons, guided hikes, ecological expeditions in search of venomous frogs. After lunch at noon, you will hike towards Termales village, where you will spend the night exploring the town and resting in the natural hot springs. You will return to the hotel, appreciating the sunset while hiking on the beach. Upon arrival, you will have dinner and then rest for the night.


DAY 12 – Bogotá

After breakfast, you will head by motorboat towards Nuqui, and take a flight back to Bogota, where your expedition will end.
