DAY 1 – BOGOTA

Arrival in Bogotá. Reception at the airport. Transfer to the selected hotel. 

At 2:30 pm we start a bike tour where you will discover Bogotá in a different and fun way. We will visit great murals of street art, where you will take the best selfies, we will visit a small coffee roaster, we will taste exotic fruits where you will experience an explosion of flavors in a typical traditional market. We will finish our experience playing the explosive Colombian national sport “Tejo”; so get ready and sharpen your aim.

At 6:30 p.m. Dinner at the Casa Vieja Restaurant, where you will enjoy an extensive typical Colombian menu. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.


DAY 2 – BOGOTA - CHOACHI - LA CHORRERA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure 7:00 am to La Chorrera Adventure Park where we will enjoy a day surrounded by nature and adventure. Our journey begins with a round trip for 4 hours walking through the exuberant Andean forest to reach the La Chorrera waterfall, the highest in Colombia. After two hours of walking, you’ll reach the base of this 590 meters waterfall and will be able to admire its force. At the end of the road we will enter a humid forest and take the small path that leads to the Cueva de los Micos, a formation with constant water that descends from the mountain.

After our walk we will have our typical lunch with the most representative foods of the region.

On the way to El Chiflón we will pass through the eastern hills and make a stop at the Cruz Verde moor. During the tour we will learn about the native life and plants of the area. After 30 minutes, you will reach the first waterfall: El Chiflón, where we will see a curtain of water and an ideal breeze to feel nature in all its splendor. There we will practice rappelling and torrentism in a descent of 55 meters where adrenaline and euphoria unload the soul. 

At the end of the afternoon, we’ll return to Bogotá. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation. 


DAY 3 – BOGOTÁ - POPAYÁN

Departure at 7:00 am to El Dorado International Airport to take a flight to Popayán, Cauca. Arrival and reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

 After leaving our luggage, we will take a pedestrian tour for three hours through the colonial zone of the city, visiting colonial houses, churches and the Humilladero and Puente Chiquito bridges. We will also have a tasting of the famous "empanaditas de pipián" typical of the region. Lunch.

Back to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 4 – PURACÉ NATIONAL NATURAL PARK

Breakfast. Early in the morning we will leave Popayán and head towards the most representative Andean natural reserve area of ​​the Colombian Massif - Volcano Belt, THE PURACÉ NATIONAL NATURAL PARK. Reception by the indigenous guard. Arrival at the Puracé Park visitor's house where the rooms will be handed over to us.

Later we will go to the Mirador del Cóndor, where we will see this majestic bird and the viewpoint of the San Rafael lagoon and the Vegon waterfall, an imposing stream of water in the middle of the mountains. Stop at the La Cristalina dam to observe the Andean tapir or mountain tapir. During the tour we will have lunch and continue enjoying the sulfur waters of San Juan.

At the end of the afternoon we will have an induction talk by the Puracé National Natural Park official. Return to the visitor's house. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 5 - PURACÉ AND PALETARÁ VOLCANOES

We’ll take breakfast early in the morning prior to the start of our hike to the craters of the Puracé and Palerará volcanoes. Arrival at the Paletara camp. Once we arrive at the camp we’ll build our tents and have lunch. 

Recognition of the area. Dinner and rest.


DAY 6 - HIKE OF THE PURACÉ AND PALETARÁ VOLCANOES

We start our hike at 06:00 am with the volcanic walk through craters, lagoons, wetlands and vegetation of the páramo. We will make the first attempt to climb the Pan de Azúcar volcano, located in the middle of the central mountain range and actually inactive. Weather may affect our chances of summiting. Lunch during the tour.

We’ll arrive at our camp at 5:00 pm after this fantastic journey.


DAY 7 - HIKE TO PURACÉ AND SUGARBREAD VOLCANOES

Our morning will start visiting the most dazzling viewpoints in the region, our first visit will be to the Mano de Gigante Viewpoint, where we will have breakfast and have time to take postcard photographs taking advantage of the spectacular landscape and its amazing view. We will continue to the Mirador la Morra. We will have lunch there.

In the afternoon we will move to the municipality of Garzón where we will visit the El Balcón del Huila Viewpoint which is located 1,600 meters above sea level. At the end of the afternoon, we will leave for the municipality of Pitalito. Accommodation.


DAY 8 - PURACÉ - POPAYÁN

Early in the morning we will start our walk back to the Pilimbalá visitor center. We will share a delicious farewell lunch with our camp team.

At 3:00 p.m. we will return to Popayán. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 9 - POPAYÁN - END OF OUR SERVICES

Breakfast at the hotel. At the established time, departure to Popayán's airport to take the flight back to the city of origin or to your next destination.
