Transportation 4x4 Santa Marta – El Mamey – Santa Marta. (we can pick you up in Santa Marta, El Rodadero or Taganda and on your way back we can drop you off at the Tayrona’s Park Entrance).

4 nights of lodging in hammock or bed with mosquito nets (depending on availability), in cabins at the indigenous communities.

4 breakfast, 5 lunches and 4 dinners (There will be donkeys holding the food and expert cooks). Snack (Fruits and snacks). Potable water.

Guided hike with Spanish- or English-speaking guide (if requested).

Travel insurance during the days of the excursion. Contribution to the indigenous communities. Local indigenous Spanish-speaking guide. If you require a translator, you must request it. Free service of luggage locker in the office of Santa Marta.

NOT INCLUDED:

Air or ground transportation to and from Santa Marta.
Additional nights lodging in Santa Marta or surrounding.
Breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day.

itinerary

Day 1 - Santa Marta – Adam’s Cabin

At 9:00 am, you will take a car from Santa Marta headed to El Mamey, during two hours and a half journey approximately. Once you arrive at El Mamey, you will have lunch. Then you will start a journey of 7.6 KM (3 hours approximately) up to Adam’s Cabin, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Very close to the cabin you will enjoy the waterfall of Honduras, a natural swimming pool in the middle of the mountains. This night you will sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets.

Day 2 - Romualdo Cabin – Mutanyi Indigenous town

This day you will have a journey of 14.7 KMS (approximately 8 hours) up to Romualdo Cabin. During the hike you will visit the indigenous town of Mutanyi, there you will have the chance to interact with their culture and enjoy the waters of the Buritaca River. You will have dinner around 18:00, to then rest in beds or hammocks with mosquito nets (depending on availability).

Day 3 - Lost City – Mumake Cabin

Early in the morning you will head out to Lost City (3 hours approximately). You will have the chance to take pictures and listen more about this mystic place that treasures many stories. Then we will go down up to Mumake Cabin, on a journey of 4 hours approximately and you will walk 7.6 kilometers approximately. Once there, you will share with the group, have dinner and spend a peaceful night.

Day 4: Descending Adam’s Cabin

Early in the morning you will continue descending to the Adam’s Cabin, you will arrive approximately around noon to have lunch and rest, or enjoy the waterfall of Honduras. At 18:00 you will have dinner and rest. This night you will sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets.

Day 5: Return to Santa Marta

At 7:00 you will have breakfast and head out to El Mamey Region, on a journey of approximately 3 hours walking. You would probably get there by 13:00 to have lunch and continue to Santa Marta, in a vehicle that will take you there. You will arrive around 17:00.
