On the Pacific coast, you will explore its beautiful beaches, hot springs, waterfalls and tropical jungle, as well as enjoy its delicious gastronomy and share with its local communities. Hop on anytime during June and October and you’ll be able to watch tens of humpback whales and dolphins while they arrive to give birth to young ones.
Arrival in Bogotá and transfer to the selected hotel.
Free day to explore Bogota
Transfer to the airport for taking the flight to Medellin. Free day to explore Medellin and take any of the optional tours.
In the morning explore this great city with a guided tour that will take you to the main neighborhoods and historic places. Free afternoon to explore Medellin or take any of the optional tours.
Your adventure starts at the Olaya Herrera airport in Medellin, from where you will take a charter flight to Nuqui (50 minutes approx.). Your host will be waiting for you at the Nuqui airport, and together you will head out to Guachalito beach, south of Nuqui, where you will settle into the hotel and then have lunch. You will have the afternoon free to rest and explore the neighboring beaches before having dinner and resting for the night.
After breakfast, you will hike to the Cascada del Amor, a large waterfall surrounded by tropical jungle (with a local guide). This is a great opportunity for a refreshing swim amidst the tropical humidity. You will have lunch at noon, and then have the afternoon off to rest, explore the surrounding jungle and beach, or reserve an additional activity. We recommend the canoe trip (chingo is the traditional word) through the Jovi river. During whale season, you will head out in search of the Humpback whales. These incredible animals migrate from Antarctica in search of warmer waters.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare for a full day on the beach. You will have the chance to reserve additional activities such as: surf lessons, guided hikes, ecological expeditions in search of venomous frogs. After lunch at noon, you will hike towards Termales village, where you will spend the night exploring the town and resting in the natural hot springs. You will return to the hotel, appreciating the sunset while hiking on the beach. Upon arrival, you will have dinner and then rest for the night.
After breakfast, you will head by motorboat towards Nuqui, and take a flight back to Bogota, where your expedition will end.
