Upon arrival in Bogota, transfer to the selected hotel.
Upon arrival our host will be waiting for you at the airport Cesar Gaviria Trujillo in Puerto Inirida, to embark to the hills of Mavecure, Pájaro and Mono, belonging to the indigenous reserves of Remanso and Venado, where you will be welcomed and have lunch. From here you will have a hike to the white sand sheet to see the Inírida flower. Continuing with the hike to the base of Cerro Diablo to see the gallery forests. Dinner. Accommodation, indigenous hut in the community of Remanso.
After breakfast, we start the hike to the hill of Mavecure, a natural viewpoint to appreciate the other two hills: Pájaro and Mono, as well as the landscape of jungle and savannah that characterizes this region of Colombia. It will take between one and two hours. Before noon you will be descending to the community of El Remanso to have lunch and enjoy the refreshing waters of the Caño San Joaquín, continuing to the Almidón Indigenous reservation of the community of La Ceiba - of the Puinave, Curripaco and Tucano ethnic groups. Dinner, in the evening you will have a trip in Curiara to Caño Pajarito recognition of the ichthyofauna. Lodging in indigenous hut.
After breakfast, you will take a short tour of the community of La Ceiba to learn about their productive initiatives that are committed to sustainability, you will take the Honey Route. Then, you will begin your journey to the Estrella Fluvial de Inírida, the confluence of the Inírida, Guaviare and Atabapo rivers and source of the Great Orinoco River. During the tour you will make a stop to enjoy a refreshing swim in the Atabapo River and visit the Piedra de Masivo, a point that marks the border between Colombia and Venezuela. The trip will take approximately three hours. Finally you will arrive at the Morú Natural Reserve, where you will have lunch and spend the night.
After breakfast, you will have a walk through the Morú Natural Reserve and explore and recognize the forests of the Matavén Jungle in the department of Vichada. At mid-morning, you will depart for Inírida up the river for about an hour to reach the airport and take the flight to your next destination.
If needed, we can book additional nights of lodging in Bogota or in another city.
